Things to do |
There are a number of walking trails through our indigenous forest, which is frequented by Sykes and Colobus monkeys as well as prolific birdlife. You can roam around the grounds at your leisure or sit on the veranda and take in the view of the Ngong Hills. There is a swimming pool - 6 x 12 metres.. We are 7 kilometres from the Limuru Country Club with extensive golfing facilities; and are just over one kilometre from the Kentmere Club, which is open to all and has a bar and restaurant as well as beautiful grounds. We are only 10 minutes from the home of Brown's cheese Details of their lunches, factory tours and tastings can be found here at the Brown's Cheese tours web pages The ever popular Kiambethu Tea Farm lunch and tour is around 10 minutes away |
Where we are
|
We are in the highlands at an elevation of around 2000 metres, just at the start of the tea growing region of Tigoni and only 45 minutes travel from most parts of Nairobi.
We are conveniently located for access to the Thika dual carriageway for those heading north to the Mt Kenya region or the Naivasha highway for the Rift valley and further west to the Masai Mara. |
